Winning the Boscar for Best Community Service Initiative, for "World Partnership Walk", in which members of the NETIP Toronto team, supported The World Partnership Walk which is Canada's largest annual event dedicated to raising funds and increasing awareness to fight global poverty. 100% of funds raised go directly to international development projects supported by Aga Khan Foundation Canada .The award was presented to the NETIP Toronto team at the DC Conference, also included in the photo is Amit Varia (to the right), Exec. team NETIP NA, Director of Operations, and to the far left is CNN Top 10 Hero & Founder of Akshaya Trust (http://www.akshayatrust.org/), and one of the Conference keynote speakers, Mr. Narayanan Krishnan, who presented the award to us. also, present in the photo is Zamreen Ebrahim, Pam Sethi, & Sonia Kumar - all NETIP 2011 Toronto board members who received the award from Mr. Krishnan at a special keynote Luncheon during the Annual NETIP Conference.
